Each September our community gathers for a ceremony at Pioneer Park in Portville, NY. Mayor Evans declares September as Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month in the Village of Portville.

This proclamation is always more than a ceremony. It is a commitment that Portville sees its warriors, honors their battles, and will continue to raise awareness for every child and family touched by pediatric cancer.

The park always looks beautiful, and Colt 45 Strong Inc. and Janet Moshier are always honored each year to help decorate it.
