If you’re passionate about changing lives by being a medical professional or researcher, and you’re a high school senior from Portville, Olean, or Allegany-Limestone, we invite and encourage you to apply for our Colt45 scholarship. Part of the mission of Colt 45 Strong Inc is to spread awareness of pediatric cancer. One of the ways we will do this is to provide financial assistance to students who heed that call. A qualified recipient from each school will receive a $500 scholarship, renewable annually, to advance the healthcare field until we know a world where no disease brings a life-threatening diagnosis. The professionals in these fields pour their hearts and souls into their work, and we want to help facilitate the beginning of your career.

Applications will be available in those schools guidance departments in late October.

In addition, a new opportunity is now available only for our pediatric cancer warriors. This scholarship will be awarded to ONE graduating senior in June 2026 from a high school in one of the five Western New York counties (Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Niagara). This scholarship is open to a pediatric cancer warrior at any stage of their journey: in-treatment, post-treatment, remission, or survivor. We at Colt 45 Strong want to help further the higher education aspirations of the kids who inspire us. This will be a $500 yearly scholarship, renewable up to four years, regardless of major or institution. To apply, and for more details, please click to download our application.
